ALL ABOUT DANIELLA KATHRYN

Daniella has been playing locally in the Comox Valley, Victoria, and Nanaimo for the past 13 years. She began her music experience with piano lessons at the age of 6, but she stubbornly refused all practice. After some years of self-teaching (and recognizing importance of practice and the benefit of those lessons), Daniella has gone on to open for and play with groups such as Anela & The Experimenters and Aaron B Thompson Band, as well as playing many solo gigs across Vancouver Island.

In 2022, Daniella completed a Diploma in Music Performance at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, with a focus in voice and contemporary piano. Her studies gained her an in-depth knowledge of music theory as well as lots of performance experience. She has learned from and worked with professionals in the industry such as Louise Rose, Yanik Giroux, Maureen Washington, Ashley Wey, Daniel Lapp, Elaine Overholt and more. These individuals inspired her not only to continue to perform, but also to teach music and to pass on some of the knowledge they have given her.

Daniella is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and bassist.
